Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort in Indian Wells, CA, is the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of CalMutuals JPRIMA and focus on the tools, strategies, and partnerships that help protect California’s small water systems. Registration is FREE for CalMutuals, CalMutuals JPRIMA, and Community Water Systems Alliance (CWSA) members, as well as for our insurance broker partners.
This year’s meeting will include annual reports on the “State of the Association” and the “State of the Authority.” The afternoon will feature sessions on risk management fundamentals and guidance on developing the wildfire-specific incident response plans required by Senate Bill 1153. Attendees will also receive valuation guidance to support informed decision-making for their systems.
Then, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., members will have the chance to connect directly with peers before participating in workshops on fire-hardening best practices and complying with back-up power requirements. Attendees can qualify for CEUs for each of the sessions.
Travel grants for airfare or mileage, lodging, and meals are available for mutual water companies that provide water to 500 or fewer connections and/or serve small and disadvantaged communities. Please contact Ceili Tuttle (ceili@calmutuals.org) if you are interested in a travel grant.
